March 26, 2005 teach the children well

just what every kid wants, south boston

you could look at this picture one of two ways. either the dad is handing his kid the toy assault rifle, or the kid has it already, and the dad is taking it away. either way, surrounded by shamrocks, leprechauns, and other symbols of good fellowship for sale around the periphery of the st. patrick's day parade, it's kinda depressing that the gun is what gets picked out. for the record, the dad handed his kid the gun. sigh. guinness, not guns.
