worse than the seeming free-fall that's going on right now is the fact that (and i think i've mentioned this before), the red sox are just plain not any fun to watch half the time. even when they're winning. it's not for lack of brilliant antics by remy and orsillo. it's not because they're not likable. hell, it's not 'cause they're bad. it's just that they clearly should be playing better than they are. pretty much all the time.
