this september, several of us are again doing the jimmy fund boston marathon walk. it's a jolly good time, and really does a fine job of driving home the point of exactly how far 26 miles really is. last year, i think we walked too slowly, and as a result, my knees and feet were completely nonfunctional for several days. this year, i hope to do better, and be in less pain. i cannot fathom how people run that far. anyway, i got burnt real bad last year on the whole charitable-donation thing, but there's no worry about that here. the jimmy fund is an excellent organization, and always has been. after all, it was good enough for ted williams. so anyway, if any of my 3.14159 loyal readers feel like contributing, here is my donation page. and you can also donate on behalf of tracey, jessica, or michelle (if she ever signs up) if you like them better. or sign up yourself. the fundraising minimum is only $200, and it's a jolly good time. you can even start halfway, in wellesley.
