expectations

some time ago, i backed my car out of my driveway in upper falls, blinded by the morning sunlight in october, and smacked gently into the side of a honda. like the dumbass i am, i left a note with my phone number, and the owner reported it accordingly.

naturally, the person who, against all odds, put a pretty nice dent on my left front fender right above my tire, did not afford me the same courtesy. mind you, this will cost more than the poor guy is worth to fix, but i hate for my poor car to suffer further indignity, considering the electrical issues, leaks in the rain, and voracious appetite for rubber products.

in related news, i got an email from smart, saying mine will be built in as little as two weeks.
