some fun was had at my roommate's expense when she expressed a preference a year and a half ago not to live on a corner of a busy street, after a speeding car planted itself in front of a neighbor's big-screen tv.

now there's a jeep in our yard.

power out, transformer blown up. small fires. car was locked and revving out of control. driver was nowhere to be found, but presumed drunk and hurt.

on the bright side, i met our neighbors.
